In order to curb VAT fraud in cross-border business transactions, banks and payment service providers in the European Union will be obliged to report extensive data from cross-border payment transactions from 2024. In this online event, we will reflect on the political motivation and the current status of the implementation of the legal requirements - and we will shed light on what this means in concrete terms for payment transactions, payment transaction providers and payment transaction users, i.e. VDT members.
