To curb VAT fraud in cross-border business transactions, banks and payment service providers in the European Union will be required to report extensive data on cross-border payments from 2024 onwards. In this online event, we will examine the political motivation behind these measures and the current status of their implementation – and we will explore what this means in practical terms for payment transactions, for payment service providers and for payment service users, i.e. VDT members.
