Cyberattacks on businesses that cripple their infrastructure, system environment and IT are a constant threat. Suddenly, everything comes to a standstill. We read about this time and again in the media, and there are also an increasing number of accounts from treasury departments that have been affected.

What impact does such an attack have on a company’s treasury? What happens in the first few hours, days and weeks following a cyber attack? What measures need to be taken immediately to protect liquidity and accounts? What preparations can be made to enable a faster response in the event of an emergency?

The Fraud Prevention Working Group of the VDT’s Cash & Liquidity division will provide answers and insights into these questions during this online event. To begin with, Jan Heimbeck of H-Hotels and Markus Wendel of Semikron Danfoss will report on the impact of cyberattacks on their companies, with a particular focus on their treasury departments. This will be followed by an overview of immediate measures that treasury departments can take. There will also be ample time for questions and discussion.
