Cyber attacks on companies that paralyse the infrastructure, system landscape and IT are omnipresent. Suddenly nothing works anymore. You can read about it again and again in the media and the number of reports from affected treasury departments is also increasing.

What impact does such an attack have on a company's treasury? What are the first hours, days and weeks after a cyberattack? What ad hoc measures need to be taken to protect liquidity and accounts? What preparations can help to be able to act more quickly in an emergency?

The Fraud Prevention working group of the VDT's Cash & Liquidity division provides answers and suggestions to these questions in this online event. Jan Heimbeck, H-Hotels, and Markus Wendel, Semikron Danfoss, will begin by reporting on the impact of cyber attacks on their companies and treasury departments in particular. This will be followed by an overview of immediate measures that treasury can take. There will also be plenty of time for questions and discussions.
