Goals & tasks
Since its foundation in 1997, VDT e.V. has become the leading professional association for corporate treasury in German-speaking countries and operates according to the mission statement "by treasurers for treasurers". The association currently counts finance managers from almost 900 companies among its members. members and thus bundles around 2 trillion euros in sales. The aim of the association is to closely link its objectives with the needs of its members. VDT e.V. offers its members a platform for exchanging experiences, monitors trends and developments, prepares relevant topics for knowledge sharing and communicates these to the community.
To bring the association's topics and expertise to the community, the Verband Deutscher Treasurer e.V. organises the following events for its members Specialist conferences, Online events, Regional meeting and Workshops. In addition, topic-related 'best practice' approaches, statements and reports are regularly published, Position papers and Newsletter published.
The VDT e.V. sees itself as a qualification institution and interest group that provides its members, such as large corporations, medium-sized companies, banks, consultants, system providers, auditing companies and law firms, with permanent and competent support as a strong partner. The scope, number, size and diversity of the companies ensure the association's leading position in the economy.
