In this podcast, Markus Liberopoulos, a student of business administration at the Nuremberg Georg Simon Ohm University of Applied Sciences, talks about his experiences at the VDT Treasury Summer School®. He first came into contact with the topic of treasury some time ago and his participation in last year's summer school further deepened his interest. Markus Liberopoulos gives an insight into the application process, reports on his experiences and the varied programme with theory, practical application and excursions.

The lectures, especially those given by Prof Dr Degenhart, helped to deepen his treasury knowledge. The summer school expanded his professional network, facilitated intensive dialogue and even helped with job application preparations.

Despite the fact that he has yet to put his knowledge into practice in Treasury, Markus Liberopoulos values the knowledge he has gained and is looking forward to putting it into practice in his internship semester from mid-March. The summer school helped him to set clear career goals and make a decision in favour of the internship semester in Treasury. In conclusion, Markus highly recommends potential participants to take part in the VDT Treasury Summer School, as it provides a deep insight into the topic of treasury, broadens horizons and enables valuable contacts to be made.
