Since its foundation in 1997, the German association of Corporate Treasurer (VDT e.V.) has established itself as the leading professional association for corporate treasury in German-speaking countries. It operates in accordance with the guiding principle ‘by treasurers, for treasurers’.

It currently counts more than 2,000 finance managers from nearly 900 companies among its Members. The VDT e.V. serves as a platform for the exchange of experiences; it monitors trends and developments, prepares relevant topics for knowledge-sharing, and disseminates these within the treasury community. In doing so, it aims to align its objectives closely with the needs of its members.

The association’s areas of focus and expertise are defined by Conferences, Online events, Regional meeting and Workshops communicated. Through regular, topic-specific ‘best practice’ approaches, statements, Position papers as well as Newsletters VDT e.V. provides its members with practical, real-world information.

VDT e.V. sees itself as the training body and representative organisation for corporate treasury in Germany. Its members include large corporations, medium-sized enterprises, banks, consultants, software providers, as well as audit firms and law firms, he is always on hand to provide expert support as a reliable partner.
