Duty of the policyholder in the sense of an obligation to provide the insurance company with the information relevant to the risk assessment and tariff classification with the insurance application before the contract is concluded. The pre-contractual duty of disclosure is stipulated by law in the Insurance Contract Act (VVG) (§ 19 VVG).
