The duty to report is an obligation of the → policyholder’s. Among other things, he is required to fulfil the following reporting obligations:
- When applying for or taking out an insurance policy, he must inform the insurance company of the nature and extent of the → Risks provide truthful and complete information.
- If there is a change to the insured → Risks one (e.g. one → Increased risk), he must submit these to the → Insurer
Following the occurrence of a → Insurance claim, he must → Insurer disclose, truthfully and in full, all circumstances relevant to the claim.
