In an increasingly volatile economy, efficient credit risk management is crucial to safeguarding a company’s liquidity. However, before data can be turned into strategic value, the operational foundations must be in place: stable, transparent and audit-proof processes. This is precisely where digital solutions come into play, thereby laying the groundwork for a future-proof treasury function.

As part of this online event, Jörg Opperbeck, Credit Manager at agricultural machinery manufacturer CLAAS, will present an authentic case study. Find out first-hand why CLAAS has digitised its credit management, what role external requirements from credit insurers played, and how the introduction of a new system has significantly improved process stability. Together with Andy Büch and Patrick Heinisch from the software provider Serrala, the session will explore how this first, crucial step towards process optimisation lays the foundation for future strategic decisions and strengthens risk management in the long term. The session will be moderated by Verena Westrup-Alfermann, a member of the VDT’s Risk Management Committee.
