The Association of German Treasurers has set up the working group on ‘The Digitalisation of Documentary Foreign Trade Processing’ (DokAHA), to drive forward the digital transformation in the field of trade finance.

 

Given the slow pace of digitalisation to date and the limited efficiency gains in this area, there is a pressing need for action. Key legal developments, such as the UN-initiated ‘Model Law on Electronic Transferable Records’ (MLETR) and the UK’s ‘Electronic Trade Documents Act’, are now laying the legal foundations for digital processes.

 

In this online event, the DokAHA Corporate Treasurer working group will discuss the potential of digitalisation. Companies will also share practical insights from their own experiences.
