The programme focuses on topics such as financial, cash and liquidity management, financial risk management and digital treasury. It is complemented by corporate presentations, practical case studies, group work and interactive exercises, which provide direct insight into modern treasury processes.

This week-long event is aimed at full-time students from the second semester onwards – ideally the fourth – who have a basic understanding of accounting and finance. The aim is to provide students with sound treasury knowledge at an early stage and to promote dialogue between students, companies and treasury experts. Participation in the VDT Summer School on Treasury® Requires approval from the Frankfurt School and the Association of German Treasurers. The number of participants is limited to 20.

The VDT Treasury Summer School® comprises 44 teaching hours, is worth 6 ECTS credits and concludes with an assessment in the form of a digitalisation concept for the treasury department.
