Virtual accounts have established themselves as an effective tool in many treasury organisations – yet the initial motivations and implementation approaches vary significantly. This online event will focus on three specific case studies from Siemens, Bayer and Autoneum, which demonstrate how these companies have successfully introduced and utilised virtual accounts to achieve different objectives.

The speakers will provide first-hand accounts of their respective project approaches: from the initial motivation through to implementation and the results achieved. They will highlight both quantitative effects – such as those relating to efficiency, transparency or costs – and qualitative benefits. In addition, the speakers will share insights into lessons learnt, new ideas and an outlook on the further development of virtual accounts in day-to-day treasury operations.

The event is part of the VDT series on virtual accounts. Previous episodes in the series can be found in the VDT Media Library are available. However, they are not essential for understanding this course.

You can find the presentation materials for this online event here in the library.
