Professor Dr Heinrich Degenhart has been teaching and conducting research as Professor of Finance and Financial Management in Lüneburg since 1994 and has also played an active role in shaping the role of the treasurer. As a long-standing member and, at the same time, a member of the Executive Committee of the Association of German Treasurers (VDT), he has provided significant impetus for the professionalisation and further development of the profession.
