In our latest podcast episode, we look at the evolution of treasury since the 1990s, its current significance, and aim to outline a vision for the treasury of the future. Our guest today, Brigitta Kocherhans, has handed over the reins of the treasury department to her successor as of 1 October 2023, after more than eight years at the helm of Siemens Healthineers’ treasury, and is now retiring. In total, Ms Kocherhans spent around 30 years working in treasury. She was also one of the few women to have headed the treasury department of a DAX-listed company.

Brigitta Kocherhans headed the Treasury department at Siemens Healthineers from 2015 until autumn 2023. She is now retiring and will, amongst other things, continue to advise UNICEF’s Treasury department on a voluntary basis.
