EthereumEthereum is currently the second largest blockchain network after Bitcoin. In contrast to Bitcoin, Ethereum is a platform on which blockchain-based and therefore decentralised applications can be programmed (so-called dApps). Any user can create smart contracts that are executed without the influence and control of third parties. Ether (ETH) is the cryptocurrency of the network and is required to create the applications as well as for transactions within the network. (Publication date 01.06.2021)
